About the Product

Khane ki jaan, aan aur shaan- ‘kala jeera’. It has a strong earthy aroma that becomes nutty flavoured when cooked. It is popular in Northern Indian cuisine. It is used to flavour meat and rice dishes with a distinctly rich, nutty, slightly grassy taste. The seeds are small, dark brown, and crescent-shaped, with a sharp, bitter odour before cooking or toasting. The seeds are pressed to yield essential oil, which is used in traditional medicines. Kala Jeera contains Vitamin A, C, K, phosphorus, iron, and potassium. It is beneficial for good memory, balanced sugar levels, heart health, reducing cholesterol, improving concentration and also helps to cure headaches. It is beneficial for the skin as well as hair.
